wen man den namen von dem laufwerk braucht ,
das ist er:Sony DVD-ROM DDU1621
ich frage weil ich nirgend wo bei sony ein fimware-update gefunden hab.

es wäre schön wen ihr mir helfen würdet.

Disclaimer: Use it on your own risk. Make sure that bad flashing can destroy your drive completly. ALL FLASHINGS ARE A RISK FOR THE DRIVE!



Flashing your drive! (Works only witch real DOS-MODE)

Create a Bootdisk and unzip MKTFLASH (one, from this side!) and a firmware to the root directory of the bootdisk.
Connect and Jumper your DVD-ROM to Secondary SLAVE (Safest setting) and disconnect all other devices.
Boot the system from the disk and run UPGRADE.BAT
Select "4" and wait until the system shows "OK!" and the command prompt.
Now you can reconfigure and reboot the system with new firmware.
