Ich dachte auch eher an die SummenStats: so um die 40.000 WUs dürften dabei raus kommen. :o

Das mit de Macs ist schon schön, wenn man schon welche hat, aber schau nur mal auf eBay wie teuer die sind. Z.B. dual G4 mit 400-450 Mhz, ging weg für 6-700 euro. Sogar ein G4 ohne Speicher und CPU ging letztens weg für knapp 250Euro. Einen 1,4Ghz CPU kostet dann nochmal ca. 600Euro. Will immer noch jemand einen MAC?
Sogar ein leeres Cube-Gehäuse ging für über 100 (oder waren es 200?) Euro weg. Ich hab das jetzt ne Weile beobachtet und die Nase voll. Keine einzelnen Board gibts, nur komplette Rechner.

PS: Da bleib ich doch lieber bei meinem Clusterprojekt, Duron 1600 und Board und 32MB Ram unter 100 Euro und das 4-10 mal ;D Happy Crunching! Schaut mal ins GHN-forum, irgendwo hat Framige Bilder von seinen Cluster-Versuchen, ganz nett.

Jetzt müssen wir nur noch die amerikanische Universität Virginia Tech dazu bewegen [HWE] zu joinen. Mit den 1100 G5-Power-Macs, dürften wir locker heute noch an die Spitze stürmen.
.....wenn es nur nicht das Problem mit dem "Please email me my password" geben würde. ;D

Hi, Lutz könntest Du nicht auch ein paar Bilder Deiner kleinen Farm posten.
Bisher ist es nur ein Board, das unterm Schreibtisch liegt, alles andere sind komplette Rechner, Arbeitsrechner und Surfrechner. sobald ich das 2. Board bekomme und ich anfange mit Netzteil (420W, 5V 52A, 3,4,V 37,
A, Servernetzteil, habe 4 Stück davon) usw, mache ich Bilder davon.

In den morgigen Stats dürften für unser Team etwa 60 k dazu gekommen sein im Vergleich zur Vorwoche.

Hmm.. Alle Kisten zuhause sind offline (hab da keine i-Connection).
Die Blöcke hole ich mir immer 5k-weise (etwa alle zwei Wochen) und flush dann gelegentlich mal. Wenn ich endlich mal mehr Kisten nachhause bekomme, verkürzt sich bestimmt der Intervall :-)
